This one day workshop is for beginning - advanced artists working with encaustic paint. It will demystify how to get a variety of types of lines in wax. We will focus on using all different types of techniques, materials and tools to make lines. Additive and subtractive processes will be used – from mark-making materials that can write on wax to tjanting tools, wax writers and batik tjaps. You’ll have ample opportunity to experiment with tools without having to buy them, and will leave with some new skills and a couple of new tools of your own.
