Experimental Drawing
$550.00

Instructor: Jeffrey Hirst
Monday - Tuesday
June 7 - 8
10am - 4pm
2 sessions at Edgewood Farm

The Experimental Drawing workshop will utilize traditional and non-traditional materials to realize work ranging from quick studies to fully developed pieces. The class emphasizes experimentation, expressing personal vision, and taking chances without concern for the likeness of the image media, ash, carborundum, plaster, building materials, ink, R & F Drawing Sticks, and collage, to develop work that reflects each participant’s aesthetic interests and vision. Hand monotype printing processes will be included in creating work that leads to unpredictable discoveries, opening the door to new possibilities.
