To Our Castle Hill Family and Friends,
How have you enjoyed Castle Hill? Whether you are a Workshop Student or a Lecture Attendee, an Auction Bidder or a Back-Deck Partier, we couldn’t be happier to have you as part of the Castle Hill family and hope you will continue to take a meaningful role as we launch into 2019.
When you become a Member and give to Castle Hill, you become a part of a large family of supporters who love the arts and care about the community. Each gift you make supports the 180+ fantastic workshops we offer each year, helps us continue our free art and writing programs for resident seniors and public school students, enhances the creative economy in Truro and assists us in connecting artists to the community and the community to the arts.
Here’s just some of what you help make possible:
Your support of Castle Hill helps us serve over 1,000 students per year in the studios and classrooms housed in our antique barn and annex main campus as well as at the gorgeous Edgewood Farm.
Your support of Castle Hill allows us to employ over 125 professional local and out of town artists at all levels and in various media.
Your support of Castle Hill enables us to provide an ever-expanding calendar of events including our incredible Lecture Series, our Annual Provincetown Dance Festival, our fun Community Summer Bash, our Live and Silent Auction, our Printmaker’s Cooperative and the only Ceramics Cooperative on Cape Cod.
Of course, we will have another summer of workshops, lectures and events at the gorgeous Edgewood Farm as well as on our historic main campus. It was through the generosity of friends like you that allowed us to expand into 12 Meetinghouse and then onto the spacious grounds at Edgewood. These additions allowed for increased parking, more classroom space for workshops, a more spacious gathering place for the arts community and necessary housing for visiting faculty and students.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on contributions from Member Donors such as you. In fact, charitable contributions from individuals make up almost half of our annual budget. At whatever level you choose to be involved with Castle Hill, we appreciate and cherish your involvement.
Many thanks for your generosity and support,
Cherie Mittenthal, Executive Artistic Director Kathleen A. Fahle, Managing Director
