Waxing, Now Waning Pandemic: A Juried Encaustic Show

This show is fairly open-ended, but is loosely focused on the impacts of the past year. Artists were encouraged to think about the ways in which the events of 2020 impacted their work/life. Themes could also include looking forward to what it means to begin to emerge from the pandemic. Work must have encaustic in it, but it isn't limited to encaustic alone.

About the Juror: Kaveh Mojtabai, is the founder and publisher of Artscope Magazine, a multi-platform magazine dedicated to reviewing exhibits and artist profiles; covering cultural events, connecting artists with their audience; and creating access to the arts.
