A historic piece of Ballston Beach lives on at Edgewood Farm.
Castle Hill accepted a donation of a 1874 barn, part of the original Ballston Beach life saving station, that was about fall into the sea. The little building, which was painted by Edward Hopper, was the stable for one of the earliest lifesaving stations on the Cape. Here is a video showing the actual move: https://vimeo.com/263731495
