A workshop that includes foundations of the Toyism Art Movement. We will learn how to create a playful, intentional color palette, and use bold colors, shapes, and symbolism to tell a story. This class will guide students in combining thoughtful choices with instinctive, fluid expression to create a personal masterpiece. Each participant will leave with a Toyism-inspired painting that is unique to their inner world, and a refreshed sense of child-like wonder in painting. A fun class for beginner and expert painters!

Amy Weeks is a Toyism artist creating large-scale acrylic paintings filled with bold color, symbolism, and imaginative emotional worlds. She was raised in Plymouth and Bourne Massachusetts and developed her style intuitively, alongside formal painting courses, years before discovering Toyism as an identified art movement. With paintings collected across the U.S., her work is known for its ability to transform a space and speak directly to the emotional body. Each piece serves as a distinct “place” or world of imagination and emotional tone, designed to make people feel, reflect, and wonder.
