Join Isabel in creating your new favorite throw pillow. Shibori is a traditional Japanese dyeing technique that involves folding, sewing, or binding fabric before dyeing it with indigo to create unique patterns. We will use a combination of sewing with the running stitch and elastic bands to create unique patterns in your pillow. Once the fabric is prepped we will dye it in a beautiful rich vat of blue indigo dye.

Isabel is the Founder of The Felted Acorns. She grew up attending the Waldorf School of Cape Cod where she is a teacher. She has a passion for all things fiber arts and journeyed to Japan 2 years ago to learn Shibori! She’s excited to share what she learned with her students. The magic of naturally dyeing never ceases to amaze her!
