5 sessions

Open studio Mon - Thurs, 1pm - 4pm

Join us as we explore the advantages of using a limited palette and a mother wash to produce unity in our artwork. We will also try out various washes and glazes to develop a watercolor abstract, and learn how to create hard and soft edges to convey form. We will also design interesting shapes, employ color temperature and value to create dominance, and drip melted beeswax to create a resist for our watercolors.  Demonstration and handouts will be provided by the instructor.
