Have a story you want to tell, but aren’t sure how to make it convincing to readers? In this workshop, we will explore techniques to make your stories more life-like and compelling. Through daily writing exercises and some discussion of published work, we will work on topics such as scene-setting, character development and pacing. Writers at all levels of experience are welcome, as are those interested in either fiction or memoir (or both).

Alison Lobron is a journalist, essayist and writing teacher.
