Join us for a week of slow stitching rooted in curiosity, connection, and hands-on making. We’ll expand the possibilities of embroidery and needlework by working with non-traditional surfaces and materials. Moving beyond cloth, we’ll explore stitching on found and foraged materials, discovering how unexpected grounds can shape both process and expression.

Through guided demonstrations and hands-on experimentation, we will learn techniques for adapting traditional stitches to unconventional materials while honoring the inherent qualities of each surface.

Whether you’re new to needlework or looking to refine your skills, this workshop encourages curiosity, fosters a connection to natural materials, and deepens an understanding of embroidery as a flexible, expressive practice rooted in both tradition and innovation.
