Learn to shuck, serve, and explore recipes for serving raw oysters with Jason and then make your own oyster plate in clay with the help of Brian Taylor! 

Jason Weisman is an oyster farmer who lives and works in Wellfleet, MA.  

Brian Taylor utilizes a broad range of techniques for his colorful functional pottery. He has been a resident artist, taught classes and worked for many art centers and universities across the country and is the Ceramics Program Director at Castle Hill. His work is exhibited nationally and he recently co-authored the book Glaze: The Ultimate Ceramic Artists Guide to Glaze and Color.  He received his Masters of Fine Arts Degree from Alfred University and his Bachelors of Fine Arts from Utah State University. 

The taste+making program is a series of classes that highlight the interdependent relationship of food and pottery. Students will enjoy a culinary experience taught by passionate local specialists and also get their hands dirty with a fun and easy clay project relating to the subject.
