Whether you’re just meeting the potter’s wheel or renewing an old friendship, this session is for you. Through a mix of demonstration and one-on-one teaching, we’ll cover basic wheel skills.  Depending on class composition and interest, we’ll have the flexibility to introduce more advanced techniques as well.  You’ll have 2 free open studio days weekly to practice what you learn.

Paul Wisotzky creates his porcelain and stoneware pottery at his studio in Truro, Massachusetts. Paul creates pots meant for everyday use throughout your home that marry beauty, form and function. He sees his work as a collaboration between his creative mind, the clay and glazes, and the caressing fires of the kiln.  Paul teaches at Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill and has served as a studio and technical assistant at the Penland School of Crafts and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
