Blood, sweat, and years: Castle Hill is equal parts passion, hard work and history. The path to our doors can bring you closer to your heart in unexpected ways, as it has for countless others.
Founded 41 years ago by a few artists with a simple dream to teach others in a beautiful Truro barn, we have evolved to offer well over a hundred fascinating classes in art, crafts, creative media and writing to students of all ages, from near and far. And that’s not all: special events, lectures, and workshops reflect a community of like-minded folks, making magic in the most basic human scale: one idea at a time.
Truro is blessed with a unique balance of natural beauty and cultural liveliness. Whether your favored raw material is color, shape or thought, you will find a Castle Hill class to expand and deepen your vision. Look further and you may discover other offerings, which add entirely new layers to your creative expression. In the process, you will enrich your own personal history… and we are, all of us, the richer for it.
