Dear Friend of Castle Hill,

As we embark on our 41th year offering innovative and creative classes, unique workshops and our fun-filled signature events we ask that you please consider joining the Truro Center for the Arts as a 2012 member.

Whether you renew your membership or enroll as a new member please know your membership helps to enable the organization achieve our mission to foster the arts and crafts by providing a wide range of instruction for adults and children. Levels of membership and their corresponding benefits can be found on the enclosed envelope.

Please save the dates for our Members Open Exhibition (June 15-25), free entrances to our new Poetry on the Deck Series, $5.00 discount to the Summer Bash (July 14), and $5.00 discount to the Artist Studio Tour (July 29).

Among the exceptional and exclusive events planned for this summer is a August 1 lecture by our Woody English Distinguished Chair:  Judy Pfaff.  Pfaff creates installations, sculptures, and drawings that explore the possibilities of line in space using materials that range from tree roots to steel, plastics, fiberglass, and plaster. Through a distinguished career that stretches back to the 1970s, she has exhibited internationally and received many prestigious awards. Pfaff is a MacArthur, NEA and Guggenheim Fellow whose installation pieces, sculptures, drawings and prints have been exhibited in some of the most prestigious museums and galleries in the world.
