Dear Friend of Castle Hill,
Thanks to you, our 40th anniversary year was an extraordinary success! From hosting the 5th Annual International Encaustics Conference to bringing food enthusiast and critic Ruth Reichl to Truro, we were thrilled at the response from local and visiting artists and art enthusiasts alike.
We couldn’t be happier to have you as part of the Castle Hill family and hope you will take a meaningful role as we plan 2012.
When you give to the annual appeal at Castle Hill, you become a part of a large family of supporters who love the arts and care about the community. Each gift you make supports the 120 fantastic workshops we offer each year, helps us continue our free art and writing programs for resident senior citizens and public school students, enhances the creative economy in Truro, and assists us in connecting artists to the community and the community to the arts.
Here’s what you help make possible:
We are thrilled to announce our plans to acquire 12 Meetinghouse Road, which will consolidate our historic Truro farm buildings into one complete campus. This addition will allow for increased parking, more classroom space for workshops, a gathering place for the arts community, and necessary housing for visiting faculty. During 2012, a targeted capital campaign will help us succeed in this goal, and we hope you will take part.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on contributions from donors such as you. In fact, charitable contributions from individuals make up almost half of our annual budget. At whatever level you choose to be involved with Castle Hill, we appreciate and cherish your support.
Together we are making a difference!
Warmest regards,

Cherie Mittenthal Kim Kettler
