In this more advanced workshop, you can unlock some of the unlimited potential of this app. This workshop is most appropriate for someone who has some working knowledge of Procreate. We will look at Procreate as a drawing and collage tool. We will delve into some of the more advanced features, such as masking, designing your own brushes, custom palettes and cloning. Even if you have used Procreate you are sure to come away with some new techniques. Come prepared to create with your images on your camera roll. (All images will be uploaded to your iPad via Airdrop) In preparation you may want to photograph fabrics or wrapping paper, old letters or sidewalks to enhance your work. (Some textures can be provided)

You will need an up-to-date version of Procreate on your iPad.  (This workshop is not recommended for iPhones.) Make sure your devices are fully charged. 

Catherine Caddigan is an award-winning artist, who received her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a concentration in photography and nontraditional imaging. She has shown her work nationally and internationally. Concentrating on “digital devices” she manipulates, collages, draws and layers her images, following a path of discovery to the end result. She collects the ephemera of her life on her camera roll, then works in a collage manner on her iPad.
